As if it weren’t obvious, AcceleNation is under serious construction. I apologize for the inconvenience, but it will be back to 100% soon and better than ever. I’m really looking forward to the technology update as a way of better serving both our writers and our readers. However, the road will not be an extremely short one, nor will it be particularly smooth.

Can’t begin to tell you how many web sites have been ruined by going to an essentially WHITE background, such as AnandTech, ArsTechnica, just to name a couple of prominent sites I no longer bother to visit for that very reason.

Thanks Steven. I have every intention of keeping a dark background with light text. As a user of a LCD-TV-as-Monitor, dark text on light background fails me too often. Black on white is bearable, but much harder on the eyes than off-white on a medium-dark grey page. That’s probably where we will land, not too far off the previous color scheme (unless I catch a bunch of flak from the other guys)
